Manually Update Host Details of SAP Batch

This procedure describes how to manually update host details of an SAP batch. This would be necessary when the settlement batch details do not get posted to the settlement log table. This is typically noticed when attempting to execute the Repeat Settlement program and it returns the following error: "Settlement Run xxxx does not exist, Message no. FY024".

This may occur when a Settlement Batch run in SAP completed but the settlement log results were not recorded to the TCCLG table. This can be verified if there is no entry for the Batch ID in question when executing SAP transaction FCC4 or FCCR. If the need arises to run the Resubmit Settlement program, then this entry is necessary.

This typically occurs when network or RFC problems are encountered during the SAP settlement execution. The program does not return from the RFC call and ends without updating the log table with the batch ID and clearing doc number. This is because the settlement process in SAP is designed to first perform the clearing, then transmit the data to XiPay, then update the log table, so any interruption of the program after the clearing will result in the log table entry missing.

Procedure

If you get an Access Denied error, contact your SAP/PCMA System Administrator as he/she controls program access.

  1. Go to the Manually update host batch details of SAP batch program menu option: /PMPAY/PRE_FCC4.

  2. Enter the SAP Settlement Batch ID that is missing at a minimum, and then click Execute.

  3. The program will find the necessary information for this Batch ID and give you the option to update the TCCLG table appropriately. Or alternatively, you can manually populate the fields with the required data if the data is not retrieved automatically.

The Date and Host batch fields are the most commonly updated fields on this screen to allow a batch to post. This information is available from the issuing bank.
