-
Safari has had limited unit testing. If problems arise, we recommend using one of the other browsers listed.
Onboarding Requirements
The only Intercept for eCommerce Onboarding requirement other than submitting the environment request via the Onboarding page is if you are implementing 3D Secure with Intercept for eCommerce. In this instance, you must obtain the following from Cardinal Commerce before you can submit your Intercept for eCommerce environment requests.
-
Cardinal Commerce Merchant ID
-
Processor ID
-
Password
Security Requirements
Paymetric provides the following security information to you during the Onboarding process. These are discussed further under the Security and Integration sections.
-
Merchant GUID
-
Shared key – A character string used for encoding the Intercept for eCommerce Request and Response packets as well as confirming the signature of both packets
Legacy Implementations
Note that as of the Intercept for eCommerce 3.0.0 GA date, Merchant Portal Onboarding functionality supports version 3.0.0 only.
If a Merchant has an Intercept for eCommerce implementation prior to version 3.0.0 (a.k.a. XiI-eComm legacy) and wishes to make a change such as adding a Card Type, adding eCheck payments, adding 3DS, etc. then they must upgrade and integrate to version 3.0.0 as documented in this guide.
The only Intercept for eCommerce third generation functionality that is available for legacy implementations is Enhanced Security.
