Void (Cancel Payment)

Purpose and description

A payment (i.e., transaction) can only be canceled or voided if the transaction is in an Authorized (100 or 110) status. Voids are performed from the Transaction Details page.

The ability to perform a void is controlled both by configuration and user permissions. If you do not see void transaction option, it is an indication that one of these items is not properly configured or the transaction is not in status '100 - Authorized' or '110 - Authorized Sale'.
